It was my father’s birthday on friday.After school,my brother and i pack our bags,take a shower and get ready.Our family went to Compass Point to eat dinner.We went to Yoshinoya to eat dinner.After that, we went to buy a birthday cake for my father from emicakes.We also bought three breakfast block.Their flavours are chocolate,durian and pandan.We went to Bata to buy exercise shoes for my mother.After that, we went home by bus.At home, we light up the four big candles on the cake.We took pictures and sang a birthday song to our father.My father cut the cake and it was delicious.The cake contain cheese, coco powder on the top and coffee.When my brother and i eat the cake, we need to take out the coffee in between the cheese.It was a wonderful day.Now i ask you one question, Mrs Soo.How old is my father?

My mother got married when she was twenty, gave birth to me when she was twenty-one.Though young, she insisted on looking after me and my brother instead of going to work as she don’t trust any maids or caregivers.I admire her courage and appreciate her efforts.She is my teacher,my adviser and my friend. She teaches me when i have difficulties in my school work.She is also creative .She often give me ideas of using different materials for decoration for my art,though she is not that good in drawing.She gave me advises when i encounter any problems with my friends.She consoled me when i felt hurt or upset.She shares with me her experiences especially her pre- university days.We always have lots of fun and laughter when my mother talks about her school days.Though she might be a little hot-tempered, a little impatient and sometimes a little fierce and stern, but overall, she is my beloved mum, always young and pretty.
